Any use of a chargeback to obtain a refund outside the conditions outlined in this policy is considered a violation of our terms and will be treated with the utmost severity. We will regard any chargeback as fraudulent and will immediately take legal action.
Chargeback fraud is a form of theft and larceny. Individuals found guilty of chargeback fraud are subject to both criminal and civil penalties. According to Nasir N. Pasha (Esq.), managing attorney at Pasha Law PC, “Authorities can prosecute individuals for even small amounts, with charges ranging from petty larceny (less than $50) to grand larceny (above $500 to $1,000).”
We will report any attempt at chargeback fraud to payment processors and relevant government agencies, and strict penalties may apply, including being barred from entry into the destination country.

FEE DETAILS – FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
Costs for U.S. Visas
All U.S. visa applicants are required to pay a visa fee to the U.S. Government’s issuing body. The amount of the visa application fee and when it must be paid depends on the type of visa being applied for. Before you apply for a visa, you should determine which visa meets your travel needs and which U.S. Government issuing body charges the processing fees for that visa. To do this, please contact support@usimmigrationassistance.org.
MRV Fee
The visa fee is also called the consular fee or application fee and is officially known as the “Machine Readable Visa (MRV) Fee“. The consular processing fee is required with every visa application. Only after paying the visa fee can you schedule a consular interview appointment at a U.S. consulate or embassy.
Please note that MRV (Visa) fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the visa application is withdrawn or the U.S. visa is refused, the applicant will not receive a refund. Furthermore, the visa fee is not transferable to other individuals, such as family members or coworkers.
Amount of the MRV Fee
The amount of the visa fee depends on the visa category applied for. This means that different visa categories may have different visa fees.
Although visa fees are officially quoted in U.S. dollars, payment is made in the respective national currency. Visa fees are subject to regular exchange rate fluctuations, which means that fees are often reduced or increased. For the current Euro-Dollar exchange rate of U.S. consulates (= consular exchange rate), please visit your country’s U.S. Embassy. The current consular application fees for U.S. nonimmigrant visas are as follows and must be made directly to the U.S. Consulate/Embassy:
B-1/B-2 visas (Business Visitor / Tourist): $175
C-1D visas (Crew Members / Transit): $175
F-1 visas (Students): $175
J-1 visas (Exchange Visitors): $175
ESTA (Tourism/Transit/Business): $129
Payment Methods
Visa fees can be paid at U.S. consulates/embassies worldwide using various options. The following payment options are available:
Online bank transfer
Debit card
Credit card
Immediate bank transfer
Cash deposit with a bank
Validity of the MRV Fee
After paying the visa fee, you will receive a payment receipt that is valid for one year. The visa fee is therefore valid for one year from the date of payment. During this period, you must arrange an interview appointment at a U.S. consulate or embassy, as the visa fee will need to be paid again after twelve months.
Other Fees in Consular Processing
In addition to the consular application fee described above, there are other visa fees in the consular process:
1. RECIPROCITY FEE
The Reciprocity Fee is based on the system of state reciprocity. Whenever a foreign government charges fees to U.S. citizens for certain types of visas, the United States also charges a Reciprocity Fee to the citizens of that country for similar visa categories.
For example, if U.S. citizens are required to pay an additional fee for a visitor visa to China, this also applies to Chinese citizens when applying for a B-1/B-2 visitor visa to the U.S.
If you’ve scheduled an interview, don’t pay the reciprocity fee in advance; instead, pay it at the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Unit when you arrive for your interview. Please ensure that you pay the reciprocity fee in advance only if you are renewing your existing visa and applying for a visa waiver. This is not an MRV fee that may be used to make an appointment.
The principle of reciprocity implies either additional fees or a shorter validity period (or both) for visa applicants from certain countries and for certain visa categories. Thus, based on the nationality of the applicant and the type of visa applied for, the U.S. Department of State may:
demand an additional fee from an applicant, or
issue a visa with a shorter period of validity than normally permitted.
The Reciprocity Fee varies depending on the nationality of the applicant and the visa category and application. You can find out in advance whether a fee applies to you by visiting the U.S. Department of State website.
This fee must also be paid by credit card or in cash in person at the U.S. consulate/Embassy.
2. SEVIS FEE
The SEVIS Fee is payable when applying for F, J, or M visas and varies depending on the visa category. Applicants must pay the SEVIS fee before their consular interview appointment. Payment is made online by credit card.
The payment receipt must be enclosed with the consular application; otherwise, the application will not be processed.
Practical tip: We assume that all applications showing the wrong fee will be returned unprocessed.
A complete list of all USCIS application fees can be found on the USCIS website.
Practical tip: Pay attention to the instructions of the USCIS regarding the respective cheque or money order. Incorrectly submitted cheques or money orders will result in the application not being accepted. These petitions will be returned to the applicant unprocessed.
Handling Fees – Our USA Visa Service
In addition to the application fees of the U.S. authorities, translation costs, etc., a consulting and process handling fee is charged when you commission our travel assistance services agency.
Depending on the visa category, we charge a fixed handling service fee while taking into account the different processing costs. The simpler the processing of a visa category, the more affordable the support from our U.S. Visa consultants.
On request, we can offer you guidance and processing on an hourly basis. In particularly urgent visa cases, we can also arrange for you express processing for an additional fee.
